Dr. Baker was born and raised in Northwest Indiana. He served in the U.S. Army and went to school on an ROTC scholarship from 1990-1998. He brought that knowledge home with him in 2001 and worked for two years continuing to gain experience while working with educators and doctors in places as varied as Jamaica and Alaska. With that experience, Dr. Baker founded Elite Healthcare in Chicago in 2003. Dr. Baker is a skilled practitioner and an educator; he has given hundreds of lectures on health and health related topics over the past 15 years, with a focused interest on athletes and athletic injuries. Being an athlete himself, Dr. Baker ran marathons (in his younger days) and had aspirations of making the Olympic marathon team in 2000.
