What to expect at your first chiropractic visit

New patient visits usually take 30–60 minutes. Your provider reviews your health history and performs a thorough evaluation that may include tests and movements. Wear comfortable clothing that allows you to move and lets your provider evaluate the necessary areas.

After the evaluation, your provider explains their findings and diagnosis, answers your questions, and recommends treatment or next steps when appropriate. Care may include hands-on treatment, soft tissue work, exercise, or rehabilitation, depending on your evaluation.

Before your appointment

• Complete your online intake forms before you arrive. They collect your medical history, the reason for your visit, and insurance and payment information, giving your provider time to review your history and our office time to verify your benefits.
• Bring relevant medical records, including imaging studies if you have them.
• A provider referral is not required. If you have one, please bring it with you.
